> About Dak Dillon
Born and raised in Mid Missouri, Dak started his first business at the age of 10, a company that would grow into a full-service graphic design and marketing agency.
A few years later, Dak began exploring the world through the lens of a camera, capturing everything from local events to fast-paced sports. Dak expanded his photography experience by putting his natural curiosity and visual instincts to work, eventually becoming a fully-credentialed photojournalist for NASCAR while still in high school.
In addition to motorsports, Dak has also covered the National Association of Broadcasters convention in Las Vegas, blogging live from the floor while gathering interviews. He has also traveled across the country on private-hire architectural shoots and has had photographs published in numerous publications and Web sites.
Dak is a regular contributor and editor of TheHotLap.com, a popular NASCAR news site, performing key duties such as photographing races across the midwest, updating the site with fresh news and day-to-day Web maintenance. In addition to his work on this site, Dak also provides full-service creative and marketing services to NASCAR teams, designing everything from car graphics to driver uniforms and promotional handouts.
Dak also co-owns and operates a family of niche Web sites, including one of the creative television news industry's most popular sites, NewscastStudio. During his first three months as editor, the site grew exponentially and now registers over a million page views a year.
Also active in his community, Dak donates time and design services to the local county fair and other organizations in need.
Backed by this wide breadth of experience, Dak will bring you and your organization a proven track record and unmatched creativity.
